Teaching Support Tutor








Are you a qualified teacher looking for part-time work?

The Royal Artillery Centre for Personal Development (RACPD) is a first-class work-based training company. We are looking for an experienced teacher with expertise in the schools sector.

You will be required to:
  • Deliver accredited courses in Teaching Support
  • Design and use appropriate assessment activities, providing developmental feedback to learners
  • Make use of the VLE (Moodle) to support delivery across the Teaching Support programme area
  • Assist in the design, development and operation of Teaching Support courses

You will need:
  • A recognised teaching qualification – PGCE, Cert Ed,  DTLLS , or equivalent
  • To demonstrate excellent teaching experience with an in-depth working knowledge of the schools sector
  • Experience of working with children and young people in an educational setting
  • Experience of working with traditional and blended methods of delivery
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong IT skills


Please note, this post is sessional and not on a permanent or fractional contract. There may be the requirement to occasionally travel to locations across the UK.
